- are other shipping options
available?
we know that there are other less expensive shipping options, but
we've chosen FexEd First Overnight services as out exclusive
shipping method because it has the shortest possible transit time.
we schedule your apple to be picked at the last possible minute, and
then rush to pack it and drop it off at the FedEx depot just as they
are closing out the final truck headed for the airport. Because the
First Overnight service gets to most places by 8AM the
next morning, you get the freshest apple possible- except for our
instant apple option, of course!
- can I pick my specific
apple?
yes! once your order is received we will email you
information on how to facetime or skype directly into the orchard
and direct the picker to your perfect apple!
- why is the instant apple
"buy now" button disabled?
this means that there are no more peak-ripe apples available
at this moment. we will pick no apple before its time. try checking
earlier in the day tomorrow.
- when will more
apples be available?
eat early. try checking after 9AM when we update the ripe
apple count for the day, but before lunchtime when most
people start getting their apple cravings. once we sell out
all the ripe apples on a given day, there will not be more
available in the system until the following morning.
- should I tip the apple
delivery person?
tips are not necessary nor expected. all our delivery persons
receive a fair working wage for their hard work and love what they
do! (heck, they get free apples!)
- will you deliver an
instant apple to brooklyn? please?
we know we have lots of great fans across the river! occasionally
(especially in nice weather!) we will deliver your instant apple to
parts of park slope, red hook, and williamsburg. email customer
service with your address and we'll let you know if we can do it
today. note that this can take more than our promised 30 minutes.
